January 29, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Glee has released a new promo that has the first look of Katie Couric in the episode that would be aired post Super Bowl. Though the anchor woman shall be playing herself in the 6th February episode, Sue Sylvester makes a mistake and takes her for being Diane Sawyer. The promo also momentarily shows Couric gyrating with Will Schuester in the library.
Matthew Morrison (who essays Mr. Schue) disclosed about the dancing number to Ryan Seacrest in his radio show, citing that it was a blast while working with Katie Couric. The 54 year old lady on her part is pretty thrilled about taking part in the show and has stated that it features in the top 10 coolest things she has done as a result of her job. She professed her delight and elation on taking part in this show as she speaks to Billy Bush on The Billy Bush Radio Show.
Delving some details about her scenes she reveals that most of her scenes are shot with Sue Sylvester. She also professes her love for Jane Lynch citing that she had a really good time with her whom she brands as one of the coolest people she has ever met. However, she regrets that she didnt have enough screen time with Mr. Schuster.
Apart from the new promo, FOX also released a special snippet that has the cast chitchatting about the perfect food companion to watch the game.
