The once upon a time hit actor-director jodi, Govinda-David Dhawan, have now drifted apart. In an interview with a leading publication, Govinda revealed that he was hurt by the director's action.

The actor shared that in 2009 he had given the filmmaker the idea to make 'Chashme Baddoor' that released in 2013.  He says,"Suddenly, I got to know that Rishi Kapoor is doing my role. I never get upset with David because we have worked in so many films that we are used to quarrelling. But this time, we had a fight. I was like. You didn't even tell me. I feel, this is how the film industry works. Personally, even if I can't work with you because your time isn't right, I'd still like to maintain a relationship with you."

The actor further adds,"I never go against my heart. If I work with him, I know it will take me three-four days just to get normal. Wherever you have expectations, you get hurt. It's in my nature."

Post this incident the actor doesn't want to work with him anymore.
