The 55th Asia-Pacific Film Festival has been a grand affair with the Bollywood film industry shinning bright with awards and nominations.
It is heard that, Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wasseypur' (GOW) has bagged four nominations, including Best Film and Best Director. The fest also has two other movies that is 'Kahaani' and 'Barfi' that are competing for awards.
'GOW' is also nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category (Huma Qureshi) and Best Art Direction (Suikal Bose).
Vidya Balan has been shortlisted in the best actress category for her performance in 'Kahaani' while 'Barfi' has been nominated for its music.
There are many other movies that are contending with 'GOW 1 & 2', including 'Wish', 'Life Without Principle', 'Lore' and more.
