The 14-year-old American actress plays Mattie Ross in hit western movie True Grit about a tough US Marshal who helps a young lady track down the man who killed her father.

Hailee has received global praise for her role in the film, and is tipped to be one of Hollywoods next big stars. Fame has given Hailee the opportunity to be preened and made over by top showbiz stylists, which she is extremely grateful for as she used to struggle to do her own cosmetics and hairstyling.

It's fun and it's crazy, because three months ago I would be doing my own hair and make-up and going crazy because I didn't think it looked good, she admitted to People.

Despite the fact that she now gets to wear designer gowns and visit A-list beauty salons, Hailee insists she will never change on the inside. The pretty star is adamant that her family will help keep her feet on the ground.
