Abhay Singh Deol, a young boy from the Bollywood's Deol family, came to Bollywood a few years back and created a niche for himself. 

Born on March 15, 1976, Abhay Deol has maintained that it is not because of has fathers that he came into acting. Since school days, he was part of the theatre and although he wanted to get into films, he continued with his studies. 

Abhay Deol made his debut with the movie Socha Na Tha in 2005. The film was very well received and Ayesha Takia and Abhay Deol's chemistry was definitely talked about. His next movie was Ahista Ahista and then Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. His films Ek Chalis Ki Last Local and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! also got a lot of positive response from the audience and the critics alike. But his real big break came with the movie Dev D which won 6 Filmfare Awards. 

Deol's 2011 movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was also a hit and despite having a co-star like Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol shined in the film.

Abhay Deol is not very vocal about his personal life but he is said to be romantically involved with Preeti Desai.
