Hailing from a family of stars, Bobby Deol started out into films as a child actor. No doubt Bobby Deol was born with a silver spoon, but he has had a very tough time creating his base in the industry.
Born into the Punjabi Jat family to Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur as Vijay Singh Deol, he is now known as Bobby Deol. He is the younger brother of Sunny Deol. He also has two half sisters- Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from his father's second marriage to Hema Malini.
Young Bobby started off as a child actor in the film Dharam Veer in 1977 as a younger version of Dharmendra, the lead actor of the film. His latter debut as an adult, was with Twinkle Khanna in 1995 through the film Barsaat and won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for it. He did a series of films after this in which he had his signature look with his long hairlocks. He soon chopped them off and this look of his was much more appreciated by many. He got real recognition through his 2002 film Humraaz.
Bobby Deol although received recognition and carved his niche, he hasn't been able to bag any hits as such.
Bobby Deol is married to Tanya Ahuja and has two sons. Apart from being a star and a family man, Bobby Deol is also a sports lover. He is the latest one to join the Mumbai Heroes Cricket team owned by Sohail Khan.
He might not be the among the top league actors, but he has definitely proved his mettle. FridayMoviez wishes Bobby Deol a very Happy Birthday!
