Karan Johar's upcoming romantic triangle film 'Hasee Toh Phasee' starring Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Adah Sharma seems to be inspired by the 1993 hit 'Aaina'.

'Aaina' starred Jackie Shroff, Juhi Chawla and Amrita Singh where Jackie and Amrita played a couple, with Juhi playing the role of Amrita's sister.

'Hasee Toh Phasee' too plays along the same plot where Adah and Sidharth play a couple who have been in love for over eight years and then Adah's younger sister Parineeti comes in the picture and Sidharth falls in love with her.

While no talks of any inspiration or a remake have been made, it is yet to be seen what 'Hasee Toh Phasee' turns out to be like.
