December 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Hollywood veteran actress Helen Mirren, who has passed more than four decades in the industry, feels that she is getting scared of getting older. The 65 year old actress thinks that she does not feel like taking any risk in her career at this age.

We have last seen her in Bruce Wills starrer action flick Red. Mirren thinks that she is gradually becoming less interested in taking risk with her career as she wants the security that comes with steady work.

She says that people usually get more frightened with age and the same has happened to her. The reality starts knocking at the door and people start realizing the worth of security, the veteran actress said. According to her, people usually start losing their idealism to attain that security.

However, the Academy Awards nominated actress admits that she has done some unusual films throughout her career by taking the risk. She always had the faith to go back to her theater work if she does not get quality work in films.

Considering her constant performances and upcoming films, we dont think Helen should be bothered about such thoughts of getting scared about risk. She can still deliver the kind of roles with full energy that might not be possible for many newcomers.
