There is a lot of anticipation riding on National award winner Madhur Bhandarkar's ambitious film 'Heroine' starring Kareena Kapoor in lead. 

The film that deals with the rise and fall of a female star in the world of glamour is been touted as one of the most awaited films of the year. The film that is set to release in the second half of 2012 was slated to come out with a teaser with 'Rowdy Rathore' on June 1. 

However, the first look that was edited by Madhur had shots with Kareena been shown smoking and drinking. The producer however wanted to play very safe and didn't want to attract negative controversies for the film with such cut throat scenes in its very first look. They asked Madhur to scrap the former one and come up with a subtle teaser that will give audience a glimpse of the film and the plot. Madhur too complied with their demands and is now preparing for the same.

However, this will take some time and hence 'Heroine's first look would not be released on June 1. "We want our teaser to reach as many people as possible and I now realize this. I will be including some very powerful shots in the new teaser. These shots will come in the next schedule of the film only. But it will be worth the wait," said Madhur Bhandarkar.
