Due to his back injury, Hrithik Roshan didn’t commence the shooting of his film "Krrish 3" when his other co-stars did the same in the last month of the year 2011.

Hrithik’s father and film’s director Rakesh Roshan started shooting the sequences with Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi in December when Hrithik was not in the desired shape nor was he fit enough to shoot for the film. It was during this phase when Hrithik assisted his father in the work as an assistant director. This gave birth to rumors that Hrithik was co-directing the film with his father. But  Hrithik Roshan to have a different take on the story and he rubbished the reports.

He expressed that he couldn’t dare to take such a step as he was just doing minute work when he couldn’t be in front of the camera. But this work he cleared didn’t cater under the direction part. “Co-directing "Krrish 3" with dad??? Ridiculous!!!” said Hrithik.
