The actor is returning to the stage for an intimate concert alongside an 18-piece orchestra.

The Tony Award winning star is delighted to be back in the theatre.
"Just finished first day at the broadhurst theatre. Incredible space ," he tweeted. "Can't wait for you all to see the show...6 days to take off (sic)!!"
Hugh has always had a love of the stage and of musicals. When he was younger he used to idolise stars who could act, sing and dance.
"I used to play rugby in the mornings," he told the New York Post. "Come home and sit down in the afternoon to watch the great American movie musicals from the golden era - Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly."
Alongside his movie roles Hugh has starred in a number of shows including Carosel, The Boy From Oz and A Steady Rain. During his performances some members of the audience have been starstruck by the Hollywood actor.
"One woman ran downstage and took her top off when I was playing [the homosexual character] Peter Allen, in The Boy from Oz. I told her she was barking up the wrong tree," he laughed. (C) Cover Media
