Hugh Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness feels like "chopped liver" when fans push past her to pursue her hunky husband.
The couple have been married for 15 years and have two children together; Oscar, 11, and six-year-old Ava.
Despite being a supportive wife and mother, Deborra has revealed she's "been almost pummelled" by over-zealous fans or "Hughophiles" who try to grab his attention.
"Literally, they will push you out of the way," she explained in an interview with the New York Post. "Hi, I'm chopped liver. How do you do?"
Deborra is over ten years older than Hugh, 43. The 55-year-old star says age isn't really significant in their relationship.
"Hugh is much more mature than me, so we balance each other out," she revealed. "And heaven forbid I have a human experience and carry a little weight."
Hugh has come under fire for his sexuality. Deborra says the pair don't pay much attention to such speculation.
"The line I heard was, Wolverine? Who would have thought?' Hugh and I don't pay much heed. It's kind of tragic that these people have nothing better to do than gossip about people they don't know," she sighed.
