Karan Johar is definitely a happy man!

Karan's recently released film, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', that stars two of his students Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, is raking in huge moolah at the box office. The film is close to making 70 crores already.

Despite the decline in footfall at the theatres owing to the well-known heavy showers in the city and festivities, the film continued to run shows with above average occupancy, even on week days. 

Now, as the 2nd weekend ends, the film is heading towards a 70 crore domestic business. 

While the release weekend figure as confirmed by the official sources, rounded up to 33 crores, the 1st week held strong with another 20 crores and now with a 13 crore 2nd weekend, the film is headed towards a 70 crore mark.
