After lying low in the initial years of her career, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is busy making headlines these days.

Her career had a dull start with flops like 'Teen Patti' and 'Luv Ka The End'. But it all changed forever with the film 'Aashiqui 2'.

The film not only changed her career, but also her relationship status in people's opinion. Her on and offscreen chemistry with her 'Aashiqui 2' co-star Aditya Roy Kapur added fuel to the rumours which claimed that they were dating each other.

While shooting for her next film 'Haider' with Shahid Kapoor, it was again reported that there were sparks flying out of their equation. And now that her film 'Ek Villain' is all set to release, she is being linked to her latest co-star Sidharth Malhotra.

However, the 26-year-old is unfazed by all such reports. In a recent candid confession she claimed to be single and happy.

"I am absolutely single. I don't know why these stories come about. Just because you work with someone and have a good chemistry doesn't mean that you are dating," said Shraddha.

She is also relieved that she doesn't have to explain much at home."My parents know exactly what is going on in my life. They're aware of my equation with Aditya and that we are good friends," added Shraddha.
