Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is famous for wearing her heart on her sleeve. Though she has been open about her relationships in past, she has now drawn a line which separates her personal life from her glamorous professional life.
As she respects the paparazzi and fan's interest in her life, she commands respect and privacy at the same time. But it was one of those rare occasions when she talked about her likes and dislikes in people which repel her.
In a free whirling chat with her upcoming film 'Finding Fanny's director Homi Adajania, the actress confessed that she hates dishonest people.
"I detest people who lie. If you mess up, don't lie to me! That really winds me up. Tell me you've messed up and I'll love you forever. Be real. Be honest. We all make mistakes," she said. She had no qualms in accepting the fact that she has learnt life's lessons the hard way.
"I've been through my share of heartache and heartbreak. But, in fact, that's something I value. It has given me clarity... it has given me direction... It has also made me realize that sometimes what is relevant at a certain time in one's life, is irrelevant at another," said a wiser DP.
When asked what is it that she actually desires and there she gives yet another simple answer. "As cliched as it sounds, I just want to be happy ya! Isn't that what we all are working towards at the end of the day?," questioned Deepika.
