Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das got hitched to his long time girlfriend Shivani Mathur at Sri Lanka yesterday. The hush hush wedding was attended by the couple's family and friends.

At the wedding, Vir showed his romantic side, by writing a romantic song for his bride and singing it too.

He said, "I wrote my bride a song and performed it live to loud cheers."

The couple is planning to host a reception for their industry friends in Mumbai soon. Due to their busy schedule they will take off for their honeymoon trip in May 2015.
