Bollywood never ceases to amaze you. Only when you think that the industry cannot go beyond romantic comedies, multistarrers, action flicks, biopics and all, it throws a surpise at you.

The latest feather in Bollywood's already decorated cap is an upcoming love story inspired by a real life romance.

The talked about film is based on the renowned love saga between Bollywood's veteran poet-lyricist Sudhir Ludhianvi and author Amrita Pritam.

Renowned actor Irrfan Khan has been signed to play the lyricist who has given this industry some really melodious gems. Irrfan confirmed the news that he has been signed for the film and is eager to start it as soon as possible.

"I signed the film almost a month back. It is an amazing story and a once in a lifetime film. I am looking forward to do it. I will begin shooting for it after I complete Jurassic Park," said Irrfan.

Rumour has it that the role of the female lead has been offered to Priyanka Chopra who is already doing a film based on the real life of boxing champ Mary Kom. The decision to cast Priyanka was a conscious one as they wanted a strong actress to act opposite Irrfan.

Though the news of Priyanka signing the film hasn't been confirmed yet, we assume that it will be a little hard for her to refuse such an offer.
