January 3, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Ritu Chaudhary Seth of the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame gave birth to a baby girl on the 31st of December. The television actress has most popularly been known as Shobha of the TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that was aired on Star Plus. Both Ritu Chaudhary Seth and her baby are healthy, said reports. The actress could also spare time for the media to confirm about her newly acquired role of a mother. In a statement to the media, Ritu Chaudhary Seth said that she is very happy and will take some time off to be there for her baby during her growing years.

The baby girl has been named Evaana Seth and is presently housed at the hospital with her mother. A couple of days more and Ritu Chaudhary Seth will be back home playing the perfect mother to her baby Evaana, says the television actress. Unfortunately her fans will get to see less of her now that Ritu Chaudhary Seth has become a mother. But motherhood will not mean the end of her career, asserts Ritu Chaudhary Seth. She is only taking a break to ensure the best care for her daughter, says the TV actress.

Several faces from the Indian television industry were spotted at the hospital where Ritu Chaudhary Seth gave birth to her daughter to wish her and husband Gautam Seth the best in life.
