Jacqueline: I doubted myself

26th December 2012

Jacqueline Fernandez who rose from doing small films has now found a strong foot hold in the Hindi Film Industry. The actress has been doing back to back big banner films and claims that it has not been an easy journey for her as she states that she strived hard to achieve the position that she enjoys today.

The beautiful actress marked her debut with duds like 'Aladin' and 'Jaane Kahaan Se Aayi Hai' which tanked at the box office breaking her courage to carry forward.

"I doubted myself and felt vulnerable. Maybe if I had my family with me I would not have gone through the same. Things have not come easily to me in Bollywood and I have had to struggle a lot. As a girl it was that much more difficult as I was not only going through my professional struggle but also concerned about looking after my family," said Jacqueline.

But she hung around and didn’t give up as her patience did bare fruits for her. "One, you need to have patience. Two, you need to have dedication and have to really work hard. You can only inflict bad on yourself through negative thoughts which you need to overcome as an actor. For days I used to ponder on negative stories. It takes an effort to remain positive being in this industry," quoted Jacqueline who post the debut debacle has churned out hits like 'Murder 2' and 'Housefull 2'. She will be next seen in 'Race 2' opposite John Abraham and Saif Ali Khan.
