Jacqueline Fernandez stepped into the Hindi Film Industry after winning the most coveted Miss Srilanka title at her homeland. And now its time to give back for the actress as she is soon to scorch the silver screen with her first SriLankan film 'According to Mathew'.

She is currently shooting for the film and tweeted a picture from the shoot from her micro blogging page stating, 'According to Mathew.. Coming soon! #myfirstsrilankanfilm #srilanka #truestory'.

As the actress mentioned, the film is a true story of Rev father Mathew Pieris, the pastor of St Paul's church who was hanged to death after he murdered his wife and his mistress' husband. The film on the incident that dates back to 1979 is being directed by Chandran Rutnam.
