It's no more a hidden secret that Jagapathi Babu is playing a crucial role in 'Thaandavam', a bilingual film starring Vikram, and directed by Vijay of 'Nanna' ('Deiva Thirumagal' in Tamil) fame.

The film makers are apparently tight lipped about the movie's starcast and the script. Jagapathi Babu is doing the role of an upright police officer, who is behind Vikram for an important reason.

'In fact, the reason why Jagapathi is searching for Vikram is the crux of the story. The role Jagapathi is playing is very very important,' say sources close to 'Thaandavam' unit.

It is said that Jagapathi will dub in Tamil for this movie. The film produced by UTV Motion Pictures hit the floors in Chennai last week. The shooting is fast progressing. Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson are the lead actresses in the film.
