Jagapati Babu is apparently trying to prove himself as an actor who belongs to the whole of south. Even as he is busy with his maiden Tamil venture 'Thaandavam' and 'Shiva Thandavam' in Telugu, the actor is a part of a Kannada movie too.

He is playing a key role in a Sandalwood movie titled 'Bachchan' that features Sudeep Kiccha who played the notorious villain in the hit movie 'Eega'.

Welcoming the star to Sandalwood, here's what Sudeep wrote on his micro-blogging sight, "JagapathyBabu sir joined th shoot today fr Bachchan,,1st kannada film fr him...glad to hv him here at KFI."

Meanwhile, Sudeep has become the center of attraction in Tollywood and Kollywood, thanks to the stupendous success of 'Eega'. Following this, producers from both the industries have been approaching him with appealing roles.
