The actor talked about his role in new movie Source Code and joked that being in mortal danger is just as nerve-wracking as inviting a girl out on a date.

Jake plays a soldier who has only eight minutes stop a terrorist from launching an explosion on a train that will destroy a whole city centre. Luckily he can relive those minutes time and time again until he has found the solution.

Hes just a guy asking a girl out for coffee. He gets blown up a couple of times in the process. But thats what it feels like when you have to ask someone youre into out, the 30-year-old quipped.

Jake, who has been linked to country singer Taylor Swift recently, also talked about his unlady-like co-star Michelle Monaghan.

He claimed that the actress equals him with her dirty sense of humour, but didnt reveal whether this is an ability that he admires or that puts him off.
