(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alleged new couple Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift are said to have chatted a lot during their weekend together.

Handsome actor Jake, 29, and 20-year-old country singer Taylor enjoyed each others company in New York last weekend, leading to speculation they may be dating.

Taylor brought Jake along to a recording of hit television show Saturday Night Live, which was being hosted by her close pal Emma Stone.

The pair sat next to each other and witnesses say they appeared to be getting along very well, despite being careful not to appear too cosy.

"They chatted a lot, but no kissing or hand holding or anything affectionate," a source told US Magazine.

"They walked around together backstage, but they were careful not to be seen too close. It was hard to tell if they were together, but everyone was shocked that she brought him," another witness commented to People magazine.

The next day Jake and Taylor were spotted again this time eating a tasty brunch and walking around the Park Slope district of Brooklyn, where Jakes sister Maggie is a resident.

In a recent interview with People, Taylor admitted she was looking for a daredevil guy who also had a sensitive side. Romance is also important to the pretty star as she likes to be treated like a lady by her partners.

Right now the most attractive quality in a guy is a sense of adventure and romance. I'd love to meet someone who would do thoughtful things throughout the relationship to remind me that he was listening to me, knows me and wants to surprise me, she explained.
