(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James Franco is set to work on a film starring his whole family.
The 127 Hours actor is due to start work on a comedy movie which features him and his brother, Dave Franco, playing serious versions of themselves.
Dave is writing the script for the movie, which will also star their real family and friends from their home town.
We're filming a couple of Funny or Die videos later this month. There's also a feature film that I'm writing for my brother and I to star in, where we play versions of ourselves named Davie and James, Dave told MTV News. Without giving away too much, it all takes place around Thanksgiving and Christmas break around our hometown of Palo Alto [California]. Our real family will be in it, my real friends from home will be in it, and the vibe of it is going to be an extended version of our Funny or Die videos.
Dave, 25, confessed the prospect of the film is playing on his mind.
The younger brother of 32-year-old James knows he will be in for a rough ride from his sibling when the cameras start rolling.
It's going to be difficult for me, because it's now a 90-minute version of him giving me sh*t and making fun of me, Dave complained. I'll give it back, trust me, but it takes its toll. It wears on you. (C) Cover Media
