(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James Van Der Beek once lent Justin Timberlake his ID card to get into a club.
The actor was joking about getting older with the musician's former 'N Sync band mate Lance Bass and recalled the incident from their younger years.
James, who at 35 is four years older than Justin, reminisced about helping the singer to fool doormen by giving him and Lance his identification so they could party.
James' admission was prompted by Lance's joke that he feels old.
"@LanceBass If you feel old, what does that make me? (other than the old guy who once loaned you & @jtimberlake my ID to get into a club) (sic)," he wrote on Twitter.
Their exchange started after James posted a picture from the set of his show Don't Trust the B**ch in Apartment 23.
In the photo, the former Dawson's Creek star can be seen with his co-star Krysten Ritter and Frankie Muniz, who famously portrayed a super intelligent teen in hit US show Malcolm in the Middle.
Upon spotting the picture, Lance tweeted that the actor still looked as youthful as his famous character.
"@vanderjames he still looks like a teenager! #ifeelold [sic]," he quipped. (C) Cover Media
