The British actor is best known for appearing in action romps such as The Transporter and The Expendables. He is happy with his career, and is unsure if he will ever branch out into softer roles. The star joked the only way he might consider it is if fellow Brit Hugh who made his name in romantic comedies like Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral offers to school him.

Im not sure Im cut from the right cloth, he mused. Maybe if Hugh Grant hangs up his hat and he asks me to fill his boots, then I might. I don't know. We'll see.

Jasons new movie The Mechanic is a reworking of Charles Bronsons 1972 classic about a hitman who makes friends with a young person who wants to begin work as a hired killer.

The actor still cant believe he won a part in the film, and hopes it is well received.

I always have been [a big fan of Bronson]. To be doing a film that he made in 1972 is a big honour, he told Extra.
