Jeeva's next film inspired from real life incidents

'Rowthiram' translated in English means 'Anger against injustice' and that's what the film's protagonist, who is none other than Jeeva, will fight for in this film. Directed by newcomer Gokul, the film's teaser was released along with 'Ko' and that has fetched a good response for the film.
Shedding light on the film, director Gokul says, "As a lay person, I have been introduced to many shocking situations that have evoked anger in me. A few months ago, I saw an auto-rickshaw driver unconscious on the roadside with bleeding profusely, after an accident. For nearly ten minutes, he was struggling for help and a crowd of people were just watching him. I picked him up and reached the hospital only to have them declare that he was no more and the doctors would have saved him had he been brought in a little bit earlier".
Relating another incident, he adds, "Some years back, I was sipping a cup of tea at a stall in Vadapalani and could see a boy and girl chatting. Suddenly, few strangers came by in a car, grabbed the girl, pulled her in and left hurriedly. We called the cops immediately but they couldn't do much."
Gokul says that these incidents have inspired him and they been very well expressed in the film 'Rowthiram'.
