Jennifer Aniston: Friends feels close

6th April 2012

Jennifer Aniston feels like it was "just yesterday" that she was filming Friends.

The actress rose to fame playing Rachel Green in the hit sitcom alongside Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox. The last episode aired in 2004 after ten successful years.

"I feel like it was just yesterday, really," she told Myself magazine.

"I'm still very close to Courteney [Cox]. Also to Lisa [Kudrow] and Matthew [Perry]. I haven't seen David [Schwimmer] in a while but we will be bonded forever."

Jennifer misses the comrade she felt with the cast of the series. She had the same closeness with the stars of her new movie Wanderlust, including her boyfriend Justin Theroux, and her one-time Friends co-star Paul Rudd.

"I miss that kind of love that each one of us used to feel for the other and shooting Wanderlust made me recall that experience. It was like a real family," she said.

Since leaving Friends, Jennifer has moved on from television to become a movie star of hit romantic comedies including Friends with Money, He's Just Not That Into You and Picture Perfect.

She is signed up to work on comedy Miss You Already, which follows two girlfriends whose friendship is put to the test when one starts a family and the other becomes ill.

In Friends, Jennifer's character enjoyed a romance with Matt's - Joey Tribbiani. He recently admitted the plot didn't go down well with everyone.

"It felt wildly inappropriate," he said. "[The cast] got super-defensive about the whole thing."
