Jennifer has wowed fashionistas with a series of slinky designer frocks on the red carpet, although she looks just as good in laidback attire and has a unique approach to creating an original aesthetic.

I can go trendy female, but then mix it with grungy boy stuff, she told ASOS magazine.

I used to wear my brothers shirts with my skirts when I was younger, and now Ill do a boys watch with a girlie necklace.

Jennifer famously wore a bright red Calvin Klein gown to this years Academy Awards, where she was nominated in the category of best actress. Although the blonde beauty looked at ease in the dress, she admits that she had been a little nervous about wearing such a bold colour.

I hadnt worn red before, she explained.

I didnt have anything red in my closet and needed to push myself. I was persuaded to wear the hot pink Oscar de la Renta [at Januarys Screen Actors Guild Awards], and I had ended up happy wearing that, so it inspired me to wear the red at the Oscars. (C) Cover Media
