Jennifer Lawrence has advised people not to watch her movies as she's a "troll".
The actress played the lead character of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. Although fans of the book the film is based on have been eagerly waiting for it to hit screens, Jennifer isn't sure they should be so excited.
"I'm a troll," she told talk show host David Letterman. "I hate myself whenever I watch. Yeah, don't go see the movies - I'm a troll. I think the movie is great, but their biggest mistake was me."
The Hunger Games is set in a futuristic world when young boys and girls are forced to battle to the death on a TV show.
Jennifer is adamant the movie is suitable for many kinds of people, adding she hopes it lives up to the expectations of some of the younger fans.
"Lots of young girls are very supportive and loud about the film, but, really, it's a movie for everybody," she said,
"We do these autograph signings and there's all sorts of different reactions. Some of [the tween fans] start screaming before they even make it to me and then run away."
The movie was shot in North Carolina and Jennifer found some of it tough going. She had to film many action sequences and at one point worried she had taken on more than she could handle.
"I had a meltdown within a couple of weeks. I was just tired and hot," she recalled.
The 21-year-old actress has been open about how difficult she finds walking the red carpet. She worries she will say something silly and gets so anxious she's previously likened herself to a "shaking Chihuahua".
Jennifer's brothers have given her some unusual advice about how to overcome her nerves.
"Both of my brothers before I went on the red carpet, I was so nervous, they're like Do shots. Do shots,'" she laughed. "I'm like, it's not a good idea. It's not a good idea. And then I did it and that led to [me saying], I'm peeing in my pants,' on the red carpet."
