Jennifer Lopez has reportedly enlisted controversial filmmaker Brett Ratner to direct her upcoming music promo.
Brett famously stepped down as this year's Academy Award producer after coming under fire for using a homophobic slur during a Q&A session to promote his movie Tower Heist.
The NY Daily News is now reporting that Jennifer wants the director on board to helm the music video for Follow the Leader the latest single from her most recent album, Love.
According to the publication, the promo will "depict an urban outdoor adventure game played by J.Lo and a crew of approximately six stunt performers."
It will "begin with a text or a tweet sent by Jennifer that will read Ready to play? Let's go.'"
The video is slated to start shooting in Los Angeles at the beginning of March and will reportedly get its world premiere on American Idol between the end of the month and end of April.
Last year, Jennifer who serves as a judge on the popular TV talent show debuted her On the Floor video on the show.
Brett has directed music videos for a host of international stars including Madonna, Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson.
A representative for Jennifer didn't comment on the rumours.
