Actor Jiiva back in Tollywood this time with 'Raudram and is hoping to get an even greater response from the Telugu audience.
About the response to 'Rangam' he says, “I was busy shooting another film when 'Rangam'was released here, but I got a lot of great reviews from the Telugu audience. I didn’t think that the movie would do so well since it was dubbed, but the response was great. I am very active on social networking sites and a lot of people complimented me there.”
On working in other Telugu films, he says, “I have been receiving a lot of offers post 'Rangam', and life got busier after the film. We are now making it a point to shoot films in Telugu and Tamil. In fact I was approached by Gautham Menon, but I had date problems.”
He adds, “My next film, in which I am playing a superhero, is a bilingual film. It also has Prakash Raj sir, so the film is going to be great.” The actor will also been seen in the Tamil version of '3 Idiots', playing the role that Sharman Joshi did in the Hindi original. He says the Tamil one is funnier than the original '3 Idiots'.
On why actors don’t act in different language films like some actresses who do, he says, “I think times are changing; now I make sure that I also target the Telugu audience. I want to do more bilingual films. I did get a few Bollywood offers, and if I like any scripts I will act in Hindi films as well.”
