(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Joan Rivers has slammed Angelina Jolie for her thigh-revealing posing on Oscar night.

The mother-of-six stole the headlines after she continually thrust out her legs from inside her long black dress on the red carpet and on the Academy Awards stage.

And while many believed that Angelina was always a natural at industry events, the Fashion Police host claims that The Tourist star maybe has to put in a lot of practice.

"Angelina Jolie looked like a fool the way she posed," Joan told RadarOnline. "She took herself right out of that super star category because you now realise she stands in front of a mirror to figure out [what she looks like]."

Joan's daughter Melissa, who is executive producer of the E! fashion show also agreed.

"She was demystified!" Melissa said. "She demystified herself and it's unfortunate because it always looks so effortless, and you think how can one person be so glamorous? It's because she practices!"

Joan added that Angelina's behaviour on Sunday night, which is already being parodied, is a reminder of her previous antics before she settled down with partner Brad Pitt.

"Have you ever seen anybody stand with their hand on a hip with a leg thrown out to open an envelope? No," Joan laughed.

"This is the first stupid move she's made. She handles her own PR, career and it's all been very thought out. She turned around from kissing her brother on the carpet to being a representative of the United Nations and she's done it all." (C) Cover Media
