Seems like Hollywood is making quite an impact on Bollywood. After Hrithik Roshan decided to play Tom Cruise in the Hindi remake of 'Knight and Day', John Abraham is all set to play Gerald Butler from 'Law Abiding Citizen'.

Apparently, the actor is in the process of acquiring the remake rights of the movie. John has spoken with the producers of the film and if all goes well, he will be a proud owner of the remake rights in collaboration with the U.S. based film.

A few days back, John watched the movie and he loved it a lot. That's when he immediately decided to adapt it for the Indian audiences. A few changes will be made to the movie to suit the Bollywood arena as well.

'Law Abiding Citizen' directed by F. Gary is a story of a man, who commits multiple murders in order to find his killer's family.

If things go well for John in getting the rights, the film will go on floors by mid 2013.
