Johnny Depp parties solo after Grammys

14th February 2012

Johnny Depp partied without Vanessa Paradis after the Grammy Awards.

The actor joined musical legend Sir Paul McCartney and fellow thespian Bruce Willis at the Foo Fighters' celebratory dinner on Sunday.

The Rum Diary star once again attended the gathering at West Hollywood eatery Fig & Olive alone, adding further fuel to speculations about the state of his relationship with French actress Vanessa.

"The actor spent most of the night sipping wine in the lounge area and taking smoking breaks outside," website E! Online writes. "Towards the end of the evening, the Beatles legend [Paul McCartney] went up to Depp and - get this - poked fun at the actor's iconic Pirates of the Caribbean character by doing a playful imitation of Jack Sparrow! It was all in fun though. McCartney then invited Depp to sit at his table."

Rumours that Johnny and Vanessa's 14-year romance is in trouble have been circulating for months and the pair has not been seen together once during award season.

Some sources claim the couple may have split some time ago but kept their break-up a secret.

Meanwhile, newly single Katy Perry attended the EMI's carnival-themed Grammy bash at Capitol Tower in Hollywood.

The Firework singer hung out with her family and jewellery designer pal Markus Molinari.

"[She was in] very good spirits,' according to a source. Perry and Molinari took a ride on a ferris wheel while sipping Patron margaritas and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf's Animal Tamer cocktails," E! Online reports.

Earlier in the evening, Katy raised eyebrows when she changed the original lyrics to her latest single Part Of Me in a seemingly obvious swipe at estranged husband Russell Brand.

"Keep your diamond ring/ In fact, you can keep everything Except for me," she sang at her first public performance since the couple's December split, instead of using the usual wording, "You can keep the dog from me/ I never liked him anyway."
