(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Josh Homme says he would like to be called Joshua, if people werent so busy.

The 37-year-old musician is best known for his work with metal band Kyuss and hard rock group Queens of the Stone Age.

The star admits he is often perturbed when his name is shortened by others. Though he would prefer to be called Joshua, he understands when people dont as they usually have busy lives.

Joshua is what I prefer to be called; thats what my close friends and my wife call me. I realise than most people dont have a lot of free time so the ua becomes very difficult, but my name is Joshua, he explained.

As a rocker, Josh concedes that in the past he took part in the fabled rock and roll culture popular throughout the genre. He believes Scottish rock band Primal Scream best conform to the hedonistic stereotype but believes he could match them through his subtle thinking.
