Two of many stars who ruled the Bollywood film industry in the 80s and 90s, Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla are all set to come together onscreen for the first time.

While they were very popular in the earlier years, the two actresses never really worked together in any films. But this time director Anubhav Sinha has made a decision on the leading ladies of his upcoming movie 'Gulab Gang'.

Madhuri Dixit was already finalized for the film, but Sinha needed another strong performer and hence he approached Juhi Chawla. It was just a few days back that she agreed to be a part of his project.

A happy Anubhav says, "Gulab Gang is about two iconic female characters. I couldn't have pulled off a better cast than the two most iconic female stars, Madhuri and Juhi, together for the first time on Indian screen. My film is an action and drama piece with two women at loggerheads. I needed actors who would justifiably match up to each other, both in terms of their performance and stature. I think, this is the best the film could get, because the subject material is so strong."

Juhi was seen in the movie 'Son of Sardaar' that released recently and has garnered a lot of compliments for her performance in the movie. Now, it is heard that she is quite happy to get into this exciting film with Madhuri.
