The ever smiling and vivacious Juhi Chawla never ceases to amaze us. The former beauty queen took up acting and went on to become one of the most memorable actresses of our times.
With passing time, she ventured into production by co-producing films. In the last decade, she spread her wings further by investing money and time in owning a cricket team and also contributing towards social development.
Not many know that Juhi is working towards mobile network pole's radiation awareness for more than a year now. She recently scored a brownie point for the same and was ecstatic to share about the same.
"A couple of days ago we met Dr Davis, who was the co-winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 with Al Gore. She advises governments on environment issues and we discussed our work on mobile radiation with her. In Delhi, we also met important officials and made wonderful progress. We are pushing for policy changes and for norms to change for radiation levels. What we really want to do is spread awareness," she said about her philanthropic contribution.
She is also proud of her team which performed exceptionally well this year. "When the team won the championship again this year, they proved that they got it on merit. It makes us feel so proud," she added grinning from ear to ear.
The multi talented actress despite of being absolutely busy with the aforementioned duties in her respective capacities, is also working towards her craft as she is eager to do more qualitative films.
"I've come across an outstanding script called Chalk And Duster. After Gulaab Gang and the wonderful reactions I got for it, I don't want to do anything that doesn't sparkle. After I got the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, I can easily say I was the best villain this year. I did something new and I was thrilled to be appreciated for it," Juhi concluded.
