(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianna Margulies thinks powerful men probably have the propensity to cheat in their DNA.

The actress plays Alicia Florrick in American drama The Good Wife. Her character returns to work as a lawyer after her politician husband Peter, portrayed by Chris Noth, is disgraced. It is publicly revealed Peter has cheated on Alicia, which made Julianna start thinking about the nature of relationships.

The actress believes powerful men have to be in an incredibly stable relationship not to be tempted to cheat, and can understand why some women chose to take back their husbands after they have strayed.

I think men in those positions of enormous power walk into the office and become a different person to the man they are at home. Its like being a rock star women will throw themselves at these men. And I think they have to be in a pretty solid relationship at home to say no. I also think those men who want to be in a powerful position probably already have a little bit of that tendency to stray in their DNA, she explained.

But I have no judgment any more about the women who stay with such men. I have tremendous respect for any woman who is put in that position, whether they decide to stay or leave, because its such an incredibly tough decision.

Julianna is happily married to Keith Lieberthal and they have two-year-old son Kieran together. The actress loves spending time with Keith because they have so much fun together, and he has shown her life shouldnt be too serious.

Juliannas parents split when she was a child, and seeing her mother have different partners made her crave a stable relationship. The star now wishes shed made more time to have fun in her life, but being with Keith allows her to do that.

He knows how to have a good time, how to enjoy life the right way, she told British newspaper The Daily Mail. He is a deep thinker, but he knows, too, that life is short. He is a man who understands what a good meal and a decent bottle of wine can do. (C) Cover Media
