(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julianne Hough is "the hardest working person" in show business, according to her co-star Kenny Wormald.
The two star together in a remake of dance film Footloose. The picture is a revamp of the 1984 film of the same name and features Kenny as Ren McCormack and Julianne as Ariel Moore.
Kenny - best known for his appearances on MTV show Dancelife and Center Stage: Turn It Up - says fellow dancer Julianne has a relentless work ethic.
"She's like the hardest working person I know," he said in a behind-the-scenes video for Elle magazine.
"I was taking a nap one day, and our trailers were combined, and I was sleeping and I woke up because the thing was shaking. I was like what's going on in Julianne's trailer because she was working out with her personal trainer- getting fit during lunch while I'm taking a nap."
Kenny says Footloose is a perfect combination of the original film's signature elements and a "sprinkling" of contemporary themes. The 27-year-old star insists the story doesn't veer too far from the iconic tale.
"It's definitely an updated, cool version of the Footloose everyone loves," he revealed.
"The story is the same, the heart of the story stays true to the original but Craig Brewer [director] sprinkled some contemporary elements on to it."
The story follows Ariel, a small-town girl who takes a liking to newcomer Ren. City boy Ren rebels against a local law that bans dancing and rock music. He must challenge Ariel's father, Reverend Shaw Moore - played by Dennis Quaid - to breathe life back into the uptight community.
Footloose is scheduled for an October 14 release. (C) Cover Media
