The 16-year-old Canadian pop star has spent ages pouring over different scents to create My World which boys and girls of different styles and tastes will be able to wear.

The singer has enjoyed working on the perfume, and is determined for it to appeal to older people as well as his typical fans.

They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today," Justin told WWD. "One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good."

The brown-haired teenager has come up with an original way for fans to wear his new odour. He will infuse the scent into dog tags and wrist bands with the help of Etoile Nation Beauty, who he has teamed with to create the product.

The star looks up to a fellow American solo singer as an idol when it comes to master-minding the perfect delicious-smelling fragrance. "I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls," he admitted. "It smells good." (C) Cover Media
