The 16-year-old pop star revealed his fondness for the 74-year-old actor on his Twitter page, where he announced to his followers on the site that he would love to have a night out with Bert.

The veteran actor is one of Americas best-loved stars, having appeared in Hollywood classics such as Smokey and the Bandit, Deliverance, and White Lightning, and it appears Justin is also a huge fan.

Bert reynolds is a guy I wanna party with (sic), wrote Justin on his Twitter account.

The teen sensation also expressed his pleasure at being nominated for four American Music Awards (AMAs) yesterday. Justin, who is currently in Asia, is up for Favourite Male Artist, Favourite Album, Artist of the Year and T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist.

Just waking up in Japan and I heard about being nominated for 4 Ama's!!! I'm so excited! Thanks to all for supporting me!!!(sic), enthused the star.

Justin is also very excited about the release of his new book, First Step 2 Forever: My Story, which documents his rise to fame. The pop singer says hes thrilled about being able to give fans a deeper insight into his life so far.
