(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber has made a veiled comment about reports he is the father of a three-month-old baby.
The 17-year-old singer took to his Twitter page today and although he did not specifically mention the claims, he made clear that he was not letting the situation get to him.
Mariah Yeater, 20, alleges in her paternity lawsuit papers that she had sex with the Somebody to Love singer and she gave birth nine months later to a little boy.
But Justin has denied the reports through his representative and tweeted twice about it today.
"I'm going to ignore the rumors and focus on what is real," he wrote. "An opportunity to help by doing what I love. Judge me on the music! Love yalll!"
"All the rumors the gossip Im gonna focus on the positives the music," he later added. (sic)
Sources told TMZ that Justin believes the story was "completely made up" and that he never even met the woman.
Star magazine printed the picture of baby Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater who was born on July 6.
But it is not yet known if Justin will submit to a DNA test as the child's mother wants to clear up the matter once and for all.
She says that Justin told her the alleged sexual encounter was his "first time" and did not wear any protection.
Meanwhile, the singer's rep has strongly denied the claims.
"While we haven't yet seen THE LAWSUIT, it's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory AND demonstrably false claims," the representative said in a statement to ET.
"We WILL VIGOROUSLY PURSUE all available legal remedies to DEFEND AND protect Justin against THESE ALLEGATIONS (sic)."
The legal filing was submitted in late October with Mariah requesting Justin provide "adequate support" for her baby.
Justin, said to be worth over $100 million is currently dating singer Selena Gomez. (C) Cover Media
