When Kangana Ranaut was announced as the winner in the 'Best Actress' category for her performance in filmmaker Vikas Bahl's film 'Queen', the actress was nowhere to receive the same.

But Bollywood diva, Rekha decided to take the award to its deserving recipient. Rekha, who loved Kangana's performance in the film, decided to pay her a visit the same night to hand her the award as well as her blessings.

Kangana, who was not only stunned but dumbstruck with this news, confessed that the gesture was more than any award for her.

"In the night, at 3 o' clock, Rekhaji came to my home with the award and flowers. Isn't that amazing? Isn’t that the most amazing thing ever? I mean, I was like, ‘What is this?' It's beyond awards, beyond appreciation, beyond hits and flops. I wish my parents were here with me, so that someone could share this thrilling moment. That gesture and courtesy of Rekhaji is beyond everything. I was with my friends and was shocked and very impressed that I had been given the award despite of my not being there," she said.
