Will now have to wait longer now as Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year 2' which was slated for a 23rd November release date is now postponed to release on the summer of 2019. The film will now release on its new date which is May 10, 2019 confirmed by Johar in his tweet.

Karan shared the film's poster that featuring Ananya Pandey, Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria and captioned, "Summer 2019!!!! 10.05.2019 !! 10th MAY 2019! Summer gets hotter!!! @punitdmalhotra @iTIGERSHROFF #Ananya #Tara @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies @foxstarhindi #StudentOfTheYear2."

This move is likely to have been taken to avoid the clutter during the last quarter of 2018, especially with Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer sci-fi thriller '2.0' slated to hit the screens on 29 November, a week later than the original release date of Student Of The Year 2, film trade source predicts.

The film is a sequel to Karan Johar's 2012 film 'Student of the Year' which gave Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra to Bollywood. 

'Student Of The Year 2' is helmed by Punit Malhotra.
