Kareena's schedule goes for a toss

30th January 2014
After a dud like 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' in 2013, Kareena Kapoor Khan was looking forward to revive her current off-track career with promising films that were in the pipeline.

The films being Karan Johar's 'Shuddhi' opposite Hrithik Roshan and Dev Benegal's 'Bombay Samurai' opposite Farhan Akhtar, the line up looked very impressive. And she also stated that she was looking forward to 2014. But unfortunately things aren't going as planned. One after another, her films are either being shelved or postponed.

While her film with Emraan Hashmi has been dropped for the time being, her aforementioned films with Hrithik and Farhan have been postponed.

While Hrithik's injuries and personal problems postponed the film, we hear the dates she allotted from that film to Farhan's film have gone for a toss too as the film's director was busy with some personal issues which took a lot of time. Now that he is back to work, the team needs at least 12 weeks time for pre-production.

Considering all the factors, film's co-producer and Farhan's friend Ritesh Sidhwani announced that the film won't go on floors in 2014.

Looks like Kareena will have to wait a little longer to get back in the swing of things.
