Kate Upton would date Robert Pattinson even though she's "scared of vampires".

The stunning Sports Illustrated supermodel revealed she would gladly cheer Robert up following his relationship heartache.

The Twilight star's long-time girlfriend Kristen Stewart had an affair with married director Rupert Sanders, and Robert is said to be considering his options.

"I might be a little scared of a vampire, but yes, he's cute!" Kate told Life & Style when asked if she'd ever date the Hollywood hunk.

Friends of Robert are reportedly worried he'll get back together with Kristen, who described the affair with Rupert as a "momentary indiscretion".

An insider told the US publication that she's been texting her estranged beau "nonstop".

"She's desperate," the source added.

Meanwhile, Kristen has pulled out of a TV awards ceremony she was due to present at alongside Robert. The former flames were set to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles next month, but Kristen is reportedly attending the Toronto International Film Festival instead.

"Bosses were hoping that Kristen and Robert would be surprise guests before this scandal blew up," a source told British newspaper The Mirror. "The idea was for them to jointly present awardsbut that has been changed."
