The 35-year-old British actress has recently shot her first pictures as the latest face of the high-end US women's knitwear specialists.

Kate looks stunning in the naturalistic images taken at a New Jersey movie theatre, and explains how important it was to her that she didnt look too modelesque.

They want to keep it looking like me and not have it look like me pretending to be a model wearing these clothes, she told WWD.

Im obviously not a model. Im not the size of a model. I dont have the face of a model or the shape of a model.

Kate is promoting the brands exciting new pieces, which include silk dresses, leopard-print coats and costume jewellery. The campaign will be unveiled in fashion magazines in America this September.

Kate is sure the collection will be a hit, and has always admired St. Johns designs.
