Bollywood latest and the newest item girl on the block whose sizzling dancing number 'Shiela ki jawani' had created waves in the industry is certainly now in the news for all the wrong reason, first the songs was a stupendous hit but the film dipped miserably at box-office, secondly her relationship with her supposedly 'good friend' Ranbir Kapoor is in constant lime light, but on the professional front again, Katrina has lost, of what could have one of the career highlights, the beauty has called it quits for the film 'Shangai' which was handled by critically acclaimed director Dibakar Banarjee, and included the super commercial Emraan Hashmi and Critic's blue eyed boy Abhay deol. Citing different career plans Katrina Kaif left the film, which is a political satire much on the lines of Raajneeti, but here unlike Raajneeti Katrina was supposed to play a role of a Half Indian and Half-Caucasian girl, the role would have fitted Katrina perfectly as the real Katrina too is Half-Indian and Half-British, but for reasons unknown she left the film and the director in dizzy. The film shooting is slated to start in next-three months and the director is still to find a leading lady. Hope the director finds its match and Katrina finds her fortune to fill up the space of such a significant film.
